Honoring Prof. Trieu Minh Vu: A Remarkable Journey at TULTECH

In the world of academia and research, certain individuals leave an indelible mark not only on the institutions they serve but also on the hearts and minds of those they work with. Prof. Trieu Minh Vu is undeniably one of those individuals. As we bid farewell to his tenure at TULTECH, we reflect on his extraordinary contributions and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
A Distinguished Career:
Prof. Trieu Minh Vu's journey at TULTECH was marked by excellence and unwavering dedication. He served as the manager of TULTECH Association, overseeing critical aspects of our organization. Simultaneously, he held the esteemed position of Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Liberec, a testament to his prowess in the field of research.
His academic journey was nothing short of remarkable. Prof. Trieu Minh Vu was a full professor at the Department of Mechatronics at the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. His academic pursuits led him to obtain a Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), specializing in model predictive control.
A Global Scholar:
Prof. Trieu Minh Vu's influence spanned continents. He traversed academic landscapes in Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, Malaysia, Czechia, and Estonia, leaving his mark in each place he ventured. His global perspective enriched the academic environments he graced and fostered international collaboration.
A Prolific Researcher:
Prof. Trieu Minh Vu's contributions to the field of advanced control techniques are well-documented. He authored over fifty ISI indexed research papers with more than 1200 citations in the field, wich is a testament to his commitment to advancing knowledge and technology. His work has undoubtedly had a lasting impact on the world of mechatronics and control systems.
A Distinguished Senior Member:
His achievements were further recognized by his appointment as a Senior Member of IEEE/CSS, and IFAC as the two prestigious honor in the world of engineering and technology.
A Grateful Farewell:
As we bid farewell to Prof. Trieu Minh Vu, we do so with deep gratitude for his unwavering commitment, dedication, and the wealth of knowledge he brought to TULTECH. His contributions have not only shaped our institution but have also inspired countless individuals within our community.
